Cybercrime is on the increase and is happening right here in Perth, right now.  A local business shared with us how a hacker copied their website almost exactly so that even when he found the "dummy" website it appeared to be a carbon-copy.

On closer inspection, he realised that they had left one letter out of the business name and made a slight adjustment to the logo.  The criminals then sent invoices from the fake website to clients and some clients even hit the "reply" button to check it was payable and received a confirmation email that they should pay this.

Ensure that you check the security of your website and monitor it closely as the move to everything online means that this type of crime is on the rise.
