We received an email suggesting Hungary as a great business location with a corporate tax rate of 9%. 

The problem with this from our point of view is:

• - Tyranny of distance - it is pretty far away to be running a business from
• - Location - right next to Ukraine could be a very unstable place to be right now
•  

It is the old story of location, location, location, so if you are looking to set up a base in Europe for operations, Hungary could be an option and they are certainly very motivated to attract international business. 

From our own experience, location should be carefully considered, for years we sought premises and as per our recent update on property in this area, West Perth FY23 update we now feel like we dodged a bullet on that one!
