We came across this great update from Harvard Business Review (HBR) on balancing accountability and compassion in your team.

Our profession has strict requirements to meet legal, educational, CPD, professional and statutory requirements and we need everyone in our office to comply with these at all times.  Everyone has their issues and whilst we are mindful of those and wish to be supportive we cannot let that get in the way of meeting all our obligations.
