Systemise your processes and save.  "Save what?" you may ask.  There are several areas that you will save on:

1. Rework: Quality assurance under ISO 9001:2015, or any of the other standard is all about making standardised processes and avoiding errors or rework.
2. Risk: ensuring consistent processes minimises the risk of error or producing a defective product.
3. Time: as we all know when something goes wrong it is a waste of time to correct it, much easier to get it right the first time.
4. Training: standardised, documented processes make training easier.
5. Insurance increases: claims or losses often lead to increased insurance premiums.
6. Stress: the hassle of dealing with non-conforming products can be very stressful.

Here at Primarius, we are about to go through our 15th ISO audit and are currently reviewing our documented policies and procedures.
