We are required to report our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to at least 7 different organisations including 5 professional bodies.  Each of these associations has its own website and systems.  We found it was exhausting and added no value re-summarising the details in 7 different ways. We already record this as part of our ISO 9001:2015 reporting. So, we resolved to use our own internal reporting system that provides these details automatically at the push of a button. We just use the KISS (keep it simple stupid) principal and found a really easy way to document and record our training.

One of these organisations were requesting re-categorise information and take an extra "week or two" to provide it in their format.  As we generally exceed our minimum CPD requirements by 100 - 200% we found the idea of spending additional time on updating reports just to fit into a "pretty format" a complete waste of time.  We were able to confirm that our CPD record-keeping met the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2015, which far exceeds their reporting requirements.
