Using 2-step authentication (2SA) applications like Google Authenticator (GA) strengthens security for logging into the majority of software currently available. All you need is a smartphone (Android or Apple) to download the app onto your phone.

We use GA for a number of our software applications and the most common one our clients use it for is Xero Accounting software.

Tip: if you change your phone, then you need to transfer your GA from your old phone to your new phone before you get rid of your old phone. Otherwise, it will be super frustrating to get your GA working again.
